G! Ladies Conference
July 13th - July 15th, 2017
This is going to be an epic gathering of women! Mothers, daughters, sisters, nieces, aunties, grandmothers and friends encompassing generations, backgrounds and walks of life all uniting with a glorious expectation to hear from Heaven. I know we will leave changed, challenged, and empowered to make a significant and positive impact in our world!
In our hectic, fast-paced, consumer-driven society, it’s common to feel overwhelmed, isolated and alone. So ladies, let’s rediscover the healing and empowering sense of friendship and belonging; the feeling that when we connect with each other and Jesus, brings greater meaning and purpose to our lives .
What cannot be achieved in one lifetime, will happen when one generation is joined to another.
2017 C4C Youth Camp
July 24th - July 28th, 2017
We are excited to announce that we will be going to Champions 4 Christ Branson Escape Camp, again this coming year! We have come back from camp the past 3 years, having a great time, but most importantly coming back with a fire for God that seems to intensify every year. The registration fee and additional expenses will be handled a little different this year, the price for camp this year is $470.
We will be taking a coach bus, and depending on the need, a van once again this year. Because of that, we still may have limited travel seats. To reserve your youth’s spot for transportation and camp, we will need a $50 deposit be submitted by Sunday, February 5th, 2017. The age limit for this year is any student(s) currently in Escape Youth or Escape JV. Travel arrangements will be determined by when you get registered. The first 50 kids who make their $50 deposit and stay up-to-date on all payments will ride on the bus. If we have more than 50 registered, those additional, will ride on a rented van, and will be subject to any up charge that may cost (approx. $30-50 per kid extra) because of less kids on it per cost.
The price for camp this year is $470. This price includes the camp registration, transportation and any additional expenses. There will be fundraising available like in years past, but here is where it becomes fun! Whenever your child participates in a fundraiser, the money the companies kick back to the Escape Student Ministry will go into their own individual accounts. So when they fundraise, they will actually fundraise toward their individual registration fee. There will be a few different fundraisers including selling Younkers Booklets and busing tables at Pizza Ranch that your teen can participate in, however, whatever isn’t fundraised, you are then responsible for the remaining amount. In years past, kids have fundraised for their own camp and it is very good work ethic opportunities! We believe this plays a big part in getting closer to God and coming back changed. We believe it will help your teens make an effort and ultimately feel ownership. This year the parents will need to head up the fundraisers, assist, and be available for specific leadership and help to make all the fundraisers go smoothly and get the kids involved.
Again, the Escape/Escape JV leadership, along with Pastors Mike and Vicki, are excited to see what God is going to do in the youth this upcoming year at Champions 4 Christ camp. We hope that your child is able to join us! If you have any questions, feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the church offices.
Sincerely, Austin Horsley, Escape Student Ministries
